Not so big on popcorn in the UK. At least I don't think so. The only time I have it is on the very rare occasion I go to the movies. That's about once every two or three years!

I've never had it with butter (only sweet) but it sounds very delicious. I just wish I could have popcorn with no shucks ;O)

Don: Agreed. Extra napkins are a must. Especially when you're eating at the laptop.

The Gossamer Woman: Yep. Real Butter. Melted properly and dripped on (did you see the drips in the photo?) It was divine. And paper napkins did indeed keep my fingers (and keyboard) dry. I shall have to let you know about it's cosmetic effects at a later date. ;)

Did you use real butter and did you melt it properly before you applied it? It sounds absolutely divine to me. The more, the better, I say. I hope you had a roll of paper towels handy, because you must have had a lot of spillage. Maybe all that melted butter is good for your chin and cheeks. Softening anyway.
