I Am Such A Geek
I spent a few days Milwaukee on a business trip this past week. Being one of the very few females there, I felt so out of it. Until I started up all my techno-gadgets, that is. Then I felt better.
In went the iPod earbuds.
Out came the Palm Pilot.
Then while checking my cell phone for messages from home, I booted up my laptop.
Good thing I was there on a computer course. I was surrounded by Geeks.
Each one with their own iPods, Palm Pilots, cell phones and laptops.
So I fit right in.
Yes.
I was ... nay, I AM
Geek Personified.

That's like my desk at work. I have a PC laptop in front of me, and on my return I have a Mac iBook. People think I'm a tech goddess!
I noticed this phenomenon on a recent flight. Once the okay to use technological devices was approved it seemed everyone brought out their iPods, DVD players, palm pilots, computers etc... and then as soon as we hit the ground all the cell phones clicked on. I had to chuckle because I was right there in the middle of it with everyone else.
LOL from a fellow geek :) Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go hook up my iPod :)
LOL! I sooo understand!
Sounds like my kinda group of people!!
What I want to know is where do guys put all their tech toys if they don't carry purses? Must be a drag to have loaded pockets.
